#WeightWatchers – Making it Official!

Official Weigh in Today

Making it Official!

After I blogged on Tuesday that I had hit my goal weight by weighing in at home I was contacted my some of my friends in the Weight Watchers community encouraging me to still attend a Weight Watchers weigh in so it is official to them which is necessary to get lifetime membership.

I took their advice today and attended a meeting in Royal Oak to make it official. This is not a location I have been to before so they don’t know me. This made my official weigh in slightly less “WOW” but I knew this would be the case if I wasn’t going to wait for Sunday and do it with my Royal Roads WW members. It was nice to be able to keep with my Friday weigh in as well a morning weigh in. I probably could have told them my story but that would have been awkward because no one asked me so didn’t want to be a bragger. 🙂  I did come to work and get a co-worker to take some photos of me so I have it for my records. I do have a pair of pants from prior to joining Weight Watchers at home, I will take a photo of me later and Instagram that out later.

I was actually down another pound for a total loss of 205.8lbs.  I need to figure out what I should use for a daily point intake.  I was at 27, once I hit goal it took me up to 33 for maintenance but I know that is too much unless I have having a huge run that day.  I did set it to 27 for now but I think I will explore a 30 point day and see if that keeps me at goal, I don’t really want to lose anymore, other than my extra skin of course. 🙂

Next week I have a consult with a plastic surgeon to see what can be done for my skin removal.  Unfortunately I can’t afford to pay for this procedure so I am hoping that some of it can be done through medical coverage.  I have heard that a tummy tuck can be covered under some circumstances but a full body lift can not be covered.  I do need a full body lift but I will be happy with a tummy tuck if I can get that least.  I will let you all know how that goes next week. 🙂

I am a strong confident woman. I am a mom of 3 three amazing children, married to my BFF of 25 years, who loves weight training, yoga, hiking, cycling, and sometimes still the odd run. I am currently completing a MA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Leadership in Organizational Culture at Royal Roads University, which will be completed in January 2020. I am currently working in higher education for BCcampus as a Project Manager for Collaborative Projects. I lead a coaching community of practice at my workplace which I developed as part of my Masters. I dabble a bit in coaching outside of work but will likely do more as I complete my Masters. I have big goals for myself, there are no limits to what is possible.
