#Weight Watchers 2 Years later- Lifetime Member

Well today was one of the best days yet in this journey.  Today I achieved my lifetime member status with Weight Watchers exactly 2 years to the Sunday that I started my journey with Weight Watchers online.

205lbs later and lighter, it feels fucking amazing!  Sorry, but that is about the only way I can describe it. It’s funny, I was so nervous today.  I knew I maintained the weight I needed to to get my lifetime but I was still so nervous to go to the meeting. I went to my meeting at Royal Roads and they were awesome to me. Coral, the leader, knew I was coming in today to get it recorded, so they made me feel awesome when I was weighing in and then again when the meeting started. Such an awesome feeling.

I had to leave my meeting early today because I had my first race for 2016.  It was the Harrier 8km in Saanichton which is part of the VIRA series.  I had a goal of sub 50 minutes, aiming for 48-49 minutes but I ended up smashing that and coming in just before the 45 min mark.  I actually did a WAHOO as I crossed the finish line, I was so pumped that I was able to sustain a pace of 5:35 for 8 km.  Such an awesome day!

After the race and post race awards my friend Katie took me for a late birthday lunch.  No better way to celebrate a day like that but with someone who is also a Weight Watchers lifetimer and an avid runner.  She totally gets me so it was great to sit down and really absorb my day.  We had a great lunch at the Brentwood pub, I had never been there before, it was great food and an awesome view. Thank you Katie ❤

Once we said goodbye I got in my car to head home to celebrate my day with my family.  As soon as I got in the car I started to cry, I cried most of the 40min drive home.  I just can’t believe how far I have come in 2 years, blows my mind!

Looking forward to what 2016 has in store for me!

I am a strong confident woman. I am a mom of 3 three amazing children, married to my BFF of 25 years, who loves weight training, yoga, hiking, cycling, and sometimes still the odd run. I am currently completing a MA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Leadership in Organizational Culture at Royal Roads University, which will be completed in January 2020. I am currently working in higher education for BCcampus as a Project Manager for Collaborative Projects. I lead a coaching community of practice at my workplace which I developed as part of my Masters. I dabble a bit in coaching outside of work but will likely do more as I complete my Masters. I have big goals for myself, there are no limits to what is possible.
